AHHHH!

Oh my gosh, you guys!
I have been MIA for quite awhile now. I sort of shut down after I finished my thesis film. lol Speaking of which, if you have not had the pleasure of seeing it, check it out on my youtube page here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bgiVYqttKBM

I won't post it on here because the uploader thingy is SUPER slow. SO! just please check it out on my youtube! :)

In other news, I have sort of stopped art and just focused on working/repairing my social life after having absolutely no life for 3 and half years. lol
But now that I am over it, I have decided to try and pursue making a web series involving my dog characters that I love so dearly. SO! That being said, my first upload here is not going to be too exciting. This is my re-design for my main character, Greta. Now, I really REALLY loved my design for Dumpling in my thesis. So I decided to make Greta a sort of Dumpling hybrid. As you can see, they are very similar now. It is pretty much Dumpling with jeans on....and a little bit of a different body type. She won't be quite as squat as before. But anywhoo! Check it out. And I promise, more designs are on the way!!!!

Sophomore Work

Here is some work I did from Fall 2007-Spring 2008. Finally getting caught up on here.
Sorry that some of the pictures have my deviant art watermark on them!!!!
Enjoy

So, this was for my Designing the Frame class. We had to illustrate a story in 3 panels using limited colors. I did a story about a candy corn. This was done in Photoshop.

Panel 3

Also for Designing the Frame. We had to illustrate the Tell Tale Heart in 3 panels. Also done in Photoshop/Illustrator

From Life Drawing for Animators class

For Expressive Drawing...we had to make a black and white piece expressing angst.

Also for Expressive drawing. We had to make a layered piece expressing joy. I chose to express childlike joy. The drawing in the background was originally done by my 10 year old niece, Hannah.

For Illustration. We had to design an illustration for a magazine article.

For Illustration. We had to make a children's book cover. This is my original story! I hope to actually make it someday.

For Illustration. We needed to design a poster. I made this for an actual organization here in Kansas City.

A fun little thing I tried to do for the school magazine. It didn't get accepted though. :(

Another poster I did for some extra credit points. Again, this organization is really in KC too! I also made a video of me making this piece. Check it out here

For the last project in illustration, we got to choose what we wanted to do. I chose a comic book cover. This is the linework.

And the final!!!

Animations from Sophomore year coming soon......
